"This place was cool, and had an emphasis on Americanism, with President roooms including a JFK room. It was really nice to experience! We noticed lot of school kids stayed in the hotel, probably for the American historical context, or that it was just right by one of the main train stops. Either way, the people in this area are all so nice and friendly, way more thab the big city of Tokyo. Genuinely enjoyed our stay around this place, and there's a ton of food options nearby, including a giant...

"Although our room was mistakenly from none smoking to smoking room. Turned out it’s a blessing in disguise cause the space is much bigger. And the smoke smell went away after a day. So, I’m happy. Plus the bed is actually very comfortable. "

"Wonderful place to stay. Simple, clean room with a comfortable bed. That bathroom was functional and the water pressure was excellent. Not a thing to complain about. The staff were lovely. I did not go for the breakfast, but my dietary restrictions make it easier to just hit one of many fantastic local grocery stores in the morning. Would stay again. Easy walk to Suzuka Circuit. Nice and flat."

"Lovely relaxing stay. We booked the Hanare Karoi luxury twin with its own private open air onsen. It was much needed after all the walking so far this trip, we didn't need to go to the larger public baths on the other levels. They provided a shuttle bus from Ogoto Onsen station. The service was great from check in, to the staff at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The private lounge and unlimited Haagen Dazs icecream, drinks and juices was a really nice touch. We really enjoyed the dinner...

"A short distance to train line from Kyoto & Nagoya etc. Not much around hotel for shopping and eating but Shusi Ann was excellent."
