"Simply put - the two cave onsen at this hotel are fantastic. And indeed, there are several other onsen pools to choose from too. I was lucky to go when the sea was quite rough, and sitting at the front of the cave onsen, soaking in the hot spring while watching the waves breaking on the rocks outside was a really soul satisfying experience. "This was a cabin with dining and kitchen area on one side and a sleeping area with tatami mats and futons in the other. The kitchen has all you need to make a meall but we didn’t bring any food with us. We only stayed one night but would come back and stay. There is a toilet in the room and went to the public onsen to bathe. The chicken yakatori place down the road is a must. "
