"The hotel was good clean and tidy. Staff were great and helpful. BAD POINT though. There is kettle and cups in room but only a teabag on offer. When I asked at reception for some coffee and milk I was told there is a shop across the road that sells it. The hotel don't do it. "We were only here for one night, and had to leave early so we missed out of the breakfast. The property is very nice, very quiet, and had plenty of parking. The room was good and met our needs, but could be a little cleaner. The bathroom and "rain" style shower was incredible. What could have been better, we could see handprints on the wall from pervious guests and the shower drain did not drain fast enough to keep up with the shower. Overall, I should certainly stay here again."

"This hotel is a bit like the Tardis: Bigger on the inside than it is outside. There is onsite free parking & lifts to the rooms which are warm & of adequate size. Staff were very friendly. I had had a 6 hour drive in bad weather to get there, so whilst my wife went to the San Pellegrino spa I stayed to rest and find somewhere to eat. "Hotel is great value and perfect for a one night stay. The area immediately around the hotel is a little isolated and felt it Hotel itself was clean and had all needed to break our journey Bed was surprisingly comfortable Breakfast buffet was excellent Welcomes dogs too!"

"Very nice hotel in a beautiful central location close to the ferry port and with a view of the lake. It is a ten minute walk from the train station. The rooms were comfortable with all the expected facilities. Breakfast had a wide range of continental choices as well as scrambled eggs and bacon. The coffee was excellent. There are a wide range of bars, restaurants and shops close by. If I were visiting Desenzano in the future I would have no hesitation in staying at Hotel Tripoli. "

"Super locations, away from the hustle bustle of the town, but only a short walk. Staff very helpful and friendly. Hotel is kept very clean and feels like it has been recently refurbished. Great shower, and nice large room( family room) "
