"What a delightful hotel, with lots of Spanish character in a stunning location on the top of a hill surrounded by a river & old fortified walls. The staff were great and friendly, we took half board as it was a Sunday when we arrived. The dinner was of high quality & quantity as was the breakfast the following morning. "I arrived to find the hotel CLOSED probably for the Winter, but I wasn’t advised of this. After 1 full hour on the phone to Hotels.com (in America, God knows how much that cost me!) they put me in their sister hotel 6 miles away which was not bad, (but not fantastic).
