"Overall we had a great stay. Joel from the restaurant was extremely hospitable and really went over the top with exceptional service. In general, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and beds were comfortable. There was plenty of storage space in the room. The hotel is also located very close to the bus stop and to the Grindelwald First cable car. Things to improve: There was no A/C so windows have to be left open to let in air which led to a lot of bugs...

"This trip exceeded all our expectations. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They were prompt when our travel plans were delayed and we were entering late. Breakfast had such a variety and was great every morning especially seeing the view. We had 2 different rooms due to a booking error that was our fault, however they were very attentive in informing us and were very accommodating. We’d cannot wait to come again and stay w/ our framiloes!"

"They have parking across the street but it is limited. The rooms ware very small & the bathroom has a sliding door with visibility into the bedroom. The room was , as expected, Swiss tiidy. The breakfast room was delightful old Swiss style & adequate food to choose from. The town is a gem! We have been there several times & I love the quaintness of the buildings as well as the river running through the main part of town."

"Everything was great with the hotel... except AVOID the restaurant. The food was fine, but it was 2x the price it should have been. For $30 swiss francs, I got a plate of mostly rice with a little chicken tikka on top. I also had to pay extra for naan which was not fresh. We were the only people in there and there no chance they made everything we ordered from scratch based on how fast it came. "
