"Friendly environment. My wife and I stayed here on our anniversary. The staff were friendly to greet us right upon arrival. We had originally booked the last room available in the inn, but in the end, they gave us an upgrade. The breakfast was fresh and locally made, including with eggs from the chickens on the property. "The Orcas Hotel is for people who like the charm of past century architecture and conditions and don't mind paying an arm and leg for it. I was desperate for accommodations for a couple of nights at the peak of summer, so grabbed the couple of nights available here. The first night I payed $195 for a bed, bath, TV and floor fan. The 2nd night I paid $100. for a bed, dresser, & bath down the hall. Not a good value, but they charge that much since they can. "
