"The property was extremely tired and run down and did not reflect how it was advertised on the Expedia website. We paid extra for a spa bath which when we turned it on, filled the room with the smell of sewage- we obviously therefore did not use it! Our room smelled damp and there was evidence of mould on the ceiling in our room and in communual areas. The furniture was battered and broken and the shower rusty."

"A unica coisa boa desta pousada é localização. O café da manhã é terrivel, poucos itens e produtos de baixissima qualidade. Não oferecem toalhas para piscina e/ou praia (mesmo q pagando). A roupa de cama e banho tbem é de baixissima qualidade. Qdo reclamei da baixa qualidade dos serviços a resposta que obtive é que o estabelecimento é uma pousada e não um resort. Só que na hora de cobrarem agem como se fossem um resort. Pelo preço que cobram (+ de 150 dolares p/ diaria) deveriam oferecerem...

"This hotel is beautiful! our room was spacious, ocean view & poolside! It had a fridge, very good AC and a wonderful breakfast with made to order eggs! The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. They even helped us to get a taxi back to São Paulo, which was a real challenge through normal channels. There are mosquitoes, as the grounds are very lush and green, so remember your bug spray. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! "

"Getting into the parking lot the road was under construction. Breakfast buffet was good. Room had 3 beds as requested, but no spare blankets/covers and only 2 of the three had a top sheet. I did request covers for the other 2. Only 1 room key. Bathroom downstairs had no toilet paper. No view. Location to beach was great and walkable. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. "

"I booked through Orbitz and they had pictures of nice bathrooms and rooms, but the room we got was dark, super basic and the bathroom was tiny. My wife refused to stay there. Luckily they were able to upgrade us to a better room for $US160 for 2 nights to a very nice room. Still the shower was a mess, couldn’t figure out how to make it the right temp, had a weird setup.
