"We’ll start with the good: Comfy mattress, individual lights/power outlets and amazing location. Unfortunately, a lot to be desired. Opened in 2010, this would have been an awesome building at the time. But it feels like no one has maintained it since then. A broken escalator in the middle of the hostel has clearly been out of service for a long time. All of the storage cupboards in the room were either jammed shut or without keys. "Nice room in a nice location 10 mins walk to the port. Semi sea view (it's half blocked). Anita was very helpful. My only and main issue is there was no WiFi which can be a deal breaker if you don't have roaming data. "

"I’d never stayed alone at a hostel before and was very nervous. I was shocked to find a welcoming environment, a clean, quiet, and air conditioned common space, and a sparkling clean and cheerful women’s dorm with a secure locking closet and a few respectful and quiet occupants. One of the pleasantest experiences of the trip, I honestly wish I had stayed longer!"

"The room was adequate for a one night stay, however not as close to town as expected and up a lot of stairs unless you know an alternate route. Taxis not so easy to get. I would suggest anybody walking to look up the route for cars so you don’t have stairs, with suitcases. Very helpful with suggestions of better walking routes and places to eat and happy to store our bags for the day. A electric jug is provided in the room but no tea or coffee, which is unusual and rather pointless. Comfortable...

"Great location roughly 5 minute walk to the green market with plenty of surrounding food options. The bus station is approx 10mins walk. The amenities were sufficient for our five night stay with an addition of a balcony. Neven was a lovely and responsive host making our stay very pleasant. I'd definitly stay here again if I return to Split."
