Lakeland - Winter Haven 2 Stars Hotels

"Hard to say anything nice about a hotel when as a family of 4 we couldn't get a couple extra pillows. We were told that their policy is only 4 total pillows allowed when there are two beds. If they were nice pillows this might have worked but as they were cheap the four of us were very uncomfortable. Also the hotel is pretty dated and in need of a makeover."

"Everyone at the front desk was very friendly. The hotel was close to shopping and dining and everything was clean. The breakfast staff was also very friendly and helpful"

"It was clean, we could walk to the downtown for the event. Easy parking, the walk up to our room was a little inconvenient since there was only one stairway and it was not near our room."

"No front desk staff available (only between the hours of 4-6pm). Currently trying to recover my $100 damage deposit. I felt unsafe as there were people smoking weed out in the parking lot. A lot of long term guests that were shady. After walking barefoot in my room, i looked like i walked barefoot through a forest all day. Could not check out due to no staff. Made several calls to try to figure out where to leave the guest room keys to no avail. No signage on the lobby door giving...

"The rooms were clean and relatively quiet, the communal areas were nice and clean. The only thing that put me off was that dog mess was scattered around the grass area. Dedicated rooms should be allocated for owners with dogs."
