"If I could give the family alone 5 stars, I would. They invited us to join them for dinner each night (for 150k each) and it was a very nice experience! They also helped to arrange a trek through the area and a car back to Sapa town when it was time for us to leave. But anyone who is planning to visit in the winter should be warned that it is very cold and the home does not have heat which made it rather uncomfortable. Luckily, the days were sunny which helped but the nights were very cold....

"The family that owns this place is very nice and friendly. It was relaxing to stay there. Convenient and inexpensive motorbike (scooter) and bicycle rentals. Breakfast that was included in the price every morning was either tea or coffee, a smoothie, 2 eggs, a pancake, a baguette with butter and a small piece of cheese, and some fruit, which was a great way to start your day. 👍😊"

"For the price of a hostel, this hotel was a comfortable and convenient choice. Breakfast included, the rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. Being and older building the noise from within the hotel can be quite loud but ear plugs will fix that. The toilet may talk to you during the night due to the older plumbing system. (sounds only)"

"A surprisingly modern and "futuristic" place for a small, rural town like Sapa. The experience of staying in the pod was fun. It was extremely private and comfortable, a place to come back to after a day to rest, but perhaps not the best place to socialize and make new friends - but I don't see people coming to Sapa for that reason, necessarily. I only stayed one night but really enjoyed it."

"Lovely hostel in a rural village. It's a.ahort walk up a steep road that is too narrow for cars, although motorbikes frequent it. This is a backpacker destination and we were the only ones there with children. The hosts are very helpful, and the people in the village are kind. Anywhere you go will involve walking steep paths, and if you choose to do any trekking, expect a challenge if you are not an experienced hiker. Also expect a lot of mud, so pack appropriately. "Don't let late night arrival at the bottom of a steep dark hill put you off. What a lovely place. The owners are nice and the family meal in the evenings is fantastic - one of my favourite dinners on our 4weeks in Vietnam! Very much recommend!"
