First, the onlÿ downside: when we arrived our host couldn't find our booking, but that wasn't a problem at the time of year we were there. They also speak virtually no English, but with Google translate in both directions that was overcome. The room itself was very nice, large, warm, great bathroom. The wifi was fine. The restaurant was really nice, and the food we had for dinner was extremely good. The dessert we had - strudel with a sauce and whipped cream - was superb. And all at normal Czech small town prices, which is to say very reasonable. There's also an outdoor patio but it was too cold to sit out when we were there. The breakfast wasn't as good as the dinner but it was fine.
This place is out in a small country town, but actually close enough to Karlovy Vary to drive there for the day. The road to Karlovy Vary was big enough for a quick, comfortable drive (the approach from the direction of Pilsen is smaller roads).
