“Gorgeous boutique hotel in Stonetown. Rooftop pool is a real treat after a day of sightseeing. Lovely staff and great cocktails, nice breakfasts. Cocktails and music on the roof at sunset set the vibe but it’s not crazy busy. You’re in the middle of the town so it will be noisy wherever you stay, bring earplugs and an eye mask if you’re a light sleeper. Would definitely recommend and stay again. ”

“This hotel is excellent. The staff (including the owner) is phenomenal. Everyone is so accommodating and welcoming. The staff speaks English and provides concierge service (directions, booking drivers/transportation and excursions). They were all concerned for my well-being and safety. “Safari House had plenty of space for our family of five. While not in the heart of Stone Town, it wasn't a far walk (10 min) to get there. Romaine, our host, was quite accommodating. The power and water shut off in the morning and he was over immediately to fix it (we didn't realize it was on a timer and was an easy fix). He also allowed us to store our luggage there after checkout time while we went out for a bit before our flight home. ”

“Great location. Nice breakfast eggs fresh fruits bread jam tea coffee on the roof terrace. Local Swahili restaurant called Luqman just walking distance and great food at very reasonable prices Definitely booking again. Small rooms but great for few days.”
