Don't stay here. This place is dishonest and too much sales-focused. I have been traveling to Japan over 30 times across different prefecture, for both business and vacation, and this is the weirdest hotel I've ever stayed.
#1. Trying to double charge for the breakfast, which I already paid.
When we checked in, they informed us that breakfast is not included from their system. I showed them my booking with Hotels.com which clearly indicates breakfast buffet. They agreed that I booked it but because they cannot see it from their system, they insisted we have to pay it again. After 3 times appealing to their upper management, they fixed it. Tiring.
#2. Gave us a blocked view room with no privacy, while we booked the mountain view.
First night we realized that the room window is facing to other house, leaving us no privacy at all. Next morning I went to the reception telling them it seems we've got a wrong room. They agreed that it's not a mountain view, but all their mountain view rooms are taken so I have to pay extra to upgrade to the suite if I want a mountain view.
Their solution from 2 occasions are, "paying more money to fix your problem". I'm not asking more. I just wanted what I booked and paid.
