“This was our first stay at The Apple House but been to York before. The Apple House seems to be this family's labour of love. It has a very homely feel and we were welcomed so friendly and informative. We were unfortunate to have selected the loft in a heatwave, however we had an air cooling unit, fan and velux window so we coped just fine. It was like a little self contained apartment. The room was small but its a single and has everything you need. the owners where on hand if you require anything. there is a very good local food pub 5 mins walk away. more if you want to drive or items form the village shop also run by the owners if you prefer.”
