“Loved the hotel, welcomed by very personable and kind doormen who were so friendly and attentive throughout our whole stay. The room was lovely and very spacious! Pool was busy but still nice! “Lovely two night stay. Charming rooms which were dog friendly, additional charge applied. Large freestanding bath and separate rainfall shower. Tuck shop with fab goodies free of charge. Booked and paid for on site parking which was convenient. Short walk into the centre of York. Would recommend! ”

“We had a fabulous two night stay. Staff were wonderful throughout our stay, made us very welcome. Hôtel is charming and our room was spacious and can fault anything about it. One of the best places we stayed. Big shout out to Caroline who arranged for a little surprise for my husband and to the lovely lady who served us behind the bar. ( we didn’t get her name) We will definitely be coming back. ”

“Rooms were very clean and adequate. Rooms warm during a cold January stay. Cooked breakfast was great. Hostess Caroline was a delight. Flat 10 minute walk to city gate (see photo). So no need to park closer unless you have a walking disability. Very desirable location. The only thing that would have made it better was to let customers know in advance that parking is £12.50 @ night. No nearby free parking in sight. Don’t hesitate to stay here. ”

“Great value hotel ideally situated on the outskirts of Leeds. Hotel staff friendly and helpful, parking is free for guests, rooms are spacious but the air conditioning didn't seem to be working and it was red hot, so wasn't the greatest night's sleep. Would still look to stay there in future if we visit Leeds though. ”
