“Lovely B&B the rooms were spacious and well equipped. The breakfast was delicious and free parking, wi-fi and 10 mins drive to Hereford. The host Lorraine was brilliant and allowed early check in too, as we arrived early. Overall a great experience. Thanks”

“The hotel advertises the fact that they have a 2 year plan for refurbishment etc and state that the rooms are professionally cleaned and then sealed. We didn't find any evidence of this, either from the cleaning point or the sealing of the room, and would point out that the "professional cleaners" may want to buy a new vacuum cleaner because the one they are using doesn't pick up very well from the carpet. On arrival at the room we noticed that there was just one solitary teabag, barely enough...

“It’s a nice small inn for staying a couple of nights. The room must be recently renovated with a nice bathroom. The only surprise was that I booked with breakfast but the hotel only provided a simple breakfast ; coffee and toast. Otherwise you need to pay extra. I wish they stayed more information on their booking information regarding the breakfast options. To me it’s a little bit too cheap for them to operate their business in this way.”

“Comfy, clean and quiet room, which was very quiet even when the pub was busy. Food also delicious.”

“Lovely hotel right in the centre of Ross with fabulous views. Room was amazing but on top floor s quite a climb, but lovely man on desk carried all our luggage up for us. Food is delicious, try the sharing tortillas on the terrace with a bottle of wine. Car parking an added bonus.”

“A friendly welcome by the staff and very attentive throughout our stay. Room 8 was excellent with plenty of space and a large bath with separate shower. Food selection was great and expertly prepared. Plenty of choices for breakfast. Good selection of drinks at the bar. Several walks from the hotel and the river Wye is only a 15 minute walk away.”

“Bar with good selection of drinks, menu was extensive. I had 12oz Steak 👍 Room clean and tidy with tea and coffee making facilities. I had a full English breakfast the following morning well cooked and presented. With tea or coffee and orange juice ”

“My overall assessment on the stay would rate it no more than a three star. There are some minor maintenance issues that need to be looked into. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food was very good and the full English was excellent. The idea of filling out what you wanted for breakfast the previous day was not really how I would like it as this might change, I would prefer to decide on the day. Conclusion: The accommodation was a little tired and in need of a spruce up.”
