“Really enjoyed our stay. Clean rooms, great atmosphere, and lovely staff. Highly recommend.”

“I did not get to stay at the OVO, I booked the wrong date (my error), but having paid Expedia for insurance that would alow me to make changes to the booking, the venue wanted to charge a handling fee that was 100% of the room cost. seeing that it would have cost me the full room cost on top of whatever the actual day would cost me I decided not to cancel and to book elsewhere.”

“Considering the price, the apartment was ok. There is an air fryer, kettle and toaster. Washing up is a challenge in the small sink in the bathroom. Filling the kettle is difficult as it doesn't fit under the tap in the bathroom! The bed was ok, but you can feel the springs. The TV didn't work as the aerial lead was damaged. The hair drier was dangerous as it was full of dust and smelt of burning. The views over the bay were spectacular. Ok for a couple of nights, no longer though.”

The general amenity of the Gateway is extremely pleasant and the staff have managed a relaxing and comfortable public area.”

“From check in to check out the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. In fact, from when you pull into the car park you get the feeling it’s a special place. The building is a beautifully well maintained old building with some rather stunning modern extras. The room we had was spacious and beautifully presented, with a very comfy bed! Spacious bathroom with walk in shower. The bar area, lounge areas, breakfast and dinner room were clean, tidy, and again had that old style feel but with modern...

“Breakfast was very good. Room a bit small and no drawers to put any thing. Staffs are good. The only problem is they didn't make up my room even though I put up the sign.”

“Property appears to have been recently made over, everything is new and fresh, extremely clean and although on the small side the rooms are perfect for overnight stays, comfortable bed and with more than enough tea/coffee supplies unlike a lot of places. The continental breakfast was excellent quality and plentiful. We could not fault the staff who were extremely friendly and helpful. Overall excellent value for money and we will definitely go back”

“The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Evening meal and breakfast were very good. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom could do with some updating. Several significant cracks in the walls and evidence of water leaks around the heated towel rail and over bath shower head was leaking water out when running the bath taps. We only had one night so not really an issue for us.”
