"I booked this property at the last minute on arrival in Iceland after midnight. I had a VRBO reserved, that is a whole other story. I called and spoke to Gunnar at the property, he was able to confirm a room available and get me checked in on arrival. The room was clean, and exactly as described. The location was perfect able to walk to many Reykjavik sites, unlimited dink g and entertainment options, pubs, restaurants, music, shopping."

"I felt very safe and secure in this shared apartment sort of setup. My room had its own lock and there were three bathrooms for 4 rooms so I had no issue with the bathrooms. Good deal for my short stay and I’ve stayed in a few different hotels/apartments in Reykjavik."

"The apartment was under the stairs, and we had to look around to find it. The locks were just fine. The location is excellent. We would definitely come back. We had asked for a one-bedroom and got a studio with a foldout couch and twin beds in an alcove. I think this was listed as a one-bedroom. Many setups like this are listed as 1 bedroom. "I loved the safety features of the property. Every door had a code to enter. I appreciated the elevator that was available. There was a grocery store right next door and many of local restaurants and tourist attractions were near by and within walking distance. The only bummer was parking, but that's an issue all over Reykjavik. Good thing is parking is free from 9pm-9am, so if you plan a fun filled day you could potentially avoid paying for parking. "This apartment was absolutely perfect for my solo trip to Iceland. The location was nice because it was easy to walk everywhere, but it was a few blocks away from the busier area so it was super quiet at night. I had an economy studio, and it was the perfect size for me. The little kitchen had everything I needed. The shower was amazing. The bed was super comfortable. The apartment was spotless when I arrived. I highly recommend Frost Apartments!"

"Location was great. Listing said the room had a toaster, but this was not true. Instructions for using the hotplate were insufficient, we had to ask for help when instructions should have said that the pot needed to be placed on the hotplate for it to work. (Apparently this is obvious to some people!) Overall we enjoyed our stay. "

"Stayed in small camping pod and loved it. Loved the atmosphere there. Overall, much greater than I expected, and I already was excited for the stay. the restaurant overlooking the waterfalls and river, the troll garden stroll, the hot tubs. All superb. It is in a remote area and provided us an excellent view of the northern lights, which we watched from the hot tub. Ideal experience, I recommend giving it a shot. "

"Thhey utilize their space well. We stayed in a hub. We opted for the lower bunk. Just the right space that we need to sleep. They have outdoor hot tub. They have a common room where they have ice machine, fridge and microwave. They have self-serve bar and vending machines in the property. It's witing walking distance to lots of restaurants, bars, souvenir stores, cafe’s, small groceries. You'll need to drive to other places. There are buses around too. There are options for parking, and we used a parking garage a block away."

"Rating: 5/5 Title: Excellent Stay – Spacious Rooms and Great Location I had a wonderful experience at Miðgarður by Center Hotels during my stay in Reykjavik. The rooms were impressively spacious, clean, and well-maintained — a real comfort after long days of sightseeing. The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from the city centre, making it easy to explore key attractions, restaurants, and shops on foot. One of the highlights was the breakfast. There was a wide variety of fresh options each morning, and everything was well-prepared and replenished regularly. The staff were also courteous and helpful throughout my stay. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a central, comfortable, and well-run place to stay in Reykjavik."

Very Pleasant Stay

"Lovely room, nice decor and furniture and a decent size. Wifi was very good. Kettle in the room but there was a sign saying no cooking so I presume that means you can't use the kettle for making noodles. There is a grocery shop just behind the hotel which was very convenient. In front of the hotel is the seafront which was very nice."
