I stayed at this hostel for the Cherry Blossom Festival at the end of March 2025. I was there for two nights on the first floor in Room 102.
This hostel has some perks: a lobby coffee shop with charging options, a convenient location near U Street Metro (green line), and Walgreens. The capsules feature 5" firm mattresses, privacy screens, USB ports (though only one worked), and are roomy enough for someone 6'3". Bathrooms include gender-separated showers, soap, hairdryers, and extras like mouthwash and Q-tips.
However, there are significant downsides: unhelpful and inattentive staff, lax security with unattended and an unlocked front desk computer, and a public coffee shop lobby doubling as luggage storage (with only a camera as the security). Capsules, though spacious, were stiflingly hot, and lockers were tricky to use at first.
Overall, the lack of friendliness, security, and consistency in addressing issues raised in reviews suggests this place has room for improvement—I wouldn't stay again.
