"This hotel is a very short walk from the boat stop (about 7-8 minutes) Lido can be reached directly from the airport. Firstly I loved Lido and the vibe, nice restaurants, houses, clean streets. The hotel was easy to find. I was lucky as my room was ready early and I was allowed to check in early which was appreciated. My room was for a single person and it was very cosy and nice. "The hotel is on the island of Lido about a 40 minute taxi boat ride away from Venice. We didn't realize just how far away it is, it's not a convenient place to visit Venice. HOWEVER, the hotel is Beautiful and is literally on the beach. There is something about walking along the shore of the Adriatic Sea. The beds were comfortable, and rooms large for Italy. "
