“Really lovely spacious room. I really struggle to sleep away from home but had no problem here. The beds were really comfortable and it was so quiet. The pub next door did fantastic food and all the prices were so reasonable. Thank you for a lovely stay. ”

“This is a versatile accommodation for business, pleasure, families. Set in a fantastic location at the bottom of penshaw monument. There are some many places within a short drive. If you don’t want to drive there is lots to do in the immediate surrounding area. A short walk and you are down by the river, where there is a great coffee shop or friendly pub. “We have a lovely stay at the cottage. We went as two couples and two dogs. The cottage was lovely and the addition of the hot tub was great. The grounds of the hotel were nice too. The back yard is accessed through the twin bedroom and that is a bit inconvenient but manageable. The cottage could do with a few finishing touches, such as lights outside, door mats, but overall it was clean and comfortable.”
