The WiFi was the best I've ever had in a hotel, which was surprising given it's rural location. The breakfast was very good and there was a wide choice. “This was an absolutely perfect apartment for our two-nights stay in the magical town of Stonehaven. It’s a spacious and quirky space whose beachside location could hardly be bettered.”

“We stayed 2 nights and paid £114 per night for bed and breakfast in a Heritage room called Irvine. The soundproofing in the room was shocking with a loud humming noise coming from behind our bed and the noise of doors slamming and guests talking. When I reported this to receptionist she acknowledged that the humming noise was from the room next door’s plumbing. I was not offered a different room. We were visited by both a spider and cockroach in the bathroom. I would therefore strongly recommend...

“What a great host Angela was. We felt welcomed from the time we arrived. Our room was very clean and everything that was promised. The cliff trail was stunning and most needed after a long drive. The only issue I had was a lack of hot water when I showered. However, after breakfast it was fine.”
