My friend and I booked 2 twin rooms.
Pros: the room and bathroom were clean, the shower pressure was like a waterfall (so great), the staff was super friendly and helpful. There was a kettle and tea/coffee provisions (but no stir sticks or spoons to stir). My room smelled like cigarette smoke, and front desk staff moved me immediately with no hassle.
Cons: the rooms were not at all as advertised. While I felt safe and the room was clean, it didn't provide a comfortable atmosphere. They felt like a half-way house for people leaving prison 😂 They were pretty dark with only one small window. The carpet was shag, a bit threadbare, and didn't seem clean (but I'm pretty sure they were, it's just the type of carpet). The decor was...weird. One single bed pushed against the wall of felted wallpaper. There wasn't enough room for a bedside table so the phone was on the floor. While technically there was a tv, there were only 4 stations (why even bother, then?). The walls were really thin - I could hear my neighbour, quite clearly, sneeze in the night and their alarm go off. The shower had a cheap plastic shower curtain that kept blowing onto me no matter how I positioned my body or the showerhead, so I just showered with the curtain open and the showerhead pointed towards the inner wall.
I would not stay here again. I wish I could share photos so you could see the actual rooms we were given.
