“Our room was super comfortable and well set up for an extended stay. The inner courtyard was quiet and also a beautiful setup. Faro was one of our favourite places to visit and we will come back to the Algarve for a longer stay next time. There are many restaurants and a pedestrian only commercial area within 10 minute walk.The area around the hotel is undergoing a rebuild and was safe and quiet after dark when we went out for late dinner. “We stayed near end of season, atmosphere in the resort was rather tranquil, which we liked. Apartments and public areas are a little worn, but spacey and well-equipped. We even got an upgrade to a suite with a third bedroom (which we did not need as a family of 3, but overall we enjoyed the extra space). For wifi in the room we needed to rent a router, but the price of 1 Euro per day is moderate and quality was perfect. Access to the (public) beach is by a 1500m walk, but there is a small train...

“Room not ready for check in time and staff refused to resolve. Had to wait with children for some time before staff agreed to give us a different room so we could check in. Other than that inflexibility and inconvenience, our stay was great. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was also good. Would stay again.”
