I was surprised at how much we enjoyed staying at this hotel. I chose it for its location, but the pictures didn't make it seem that nice. The hotel is old, but the rooms seem newly renovated. We had a room with two double beds, and still had a sitting area and a small desk. The bathroom was very large, with an outside sink, a sink and toilet in one side, and a shower and bathtub in the other.
The service at the front counter is good. In addition to breakfast coupons, we also got coupons for ice cream from the lobby. The manager even gave us some without the coupons!
The breakfast was good. In terms of Western food there was cereal, toast, cake, fruit, and coffee. There was a lot more variety for Chinese food: congee, soymilk, miso soup, sweet baozi and mantou, a noodle station, rice, and various dishes to go with the rice, such as chawanmushi and pork stew.
