“We did an overnight stop to split a long journey. Lovely welcome from Cara. We loved the accommodation, own entrance and all we needed for our stay. Great bedding and bathroom with shower. Breakfast cooked to order and is served in room was really high quality. Such a convenient stop off just in the A30, will definitely stay again. ”

“What an absolute treat The Red Lion is. I went of pervious reviews and it didn’t disappoint. In fact it exceeded my expectations, what a gem of a place. The Staff were simple amazing, David and Jasmine were fantastic and always on hand of we needed anything. The rooms are so comfortable and modern, the Breakfast was fabulous and the food in the pub was outstanding. My only problem is that I won't have the homemade biscuits that were in the room, tonight with my cuppa tea when i am at home.”

“We very much enjoyed our stay at the White Cottage. We were made very welcome and shown around on our arrival. The room was nice, with two chairs as well as a comfortable bed. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided, including a flask of fresh milk and decaff coffee and tea which was appreciated. The shower was powerful and warm and plenty of towels were provided. There was a nice guest lounge downstairs and a bar, plus a lovely garden to sit in. The breakfast was excellent too - freshly...

“The owners of the hotel couldnt have done enough. They were lovely and made me feel really welcome. Nothing was too much for them. Such a lovely couple. The food was amazing I will definitely be going back with my husband and the dog when we hire the adjoinjng cottage.”

“The staff were very friendly and couldnt do enough to ensure our stay was comfortable. Our room was spacious clean and exactly like advertised on the web site. Everything was very clean. Bathroom and shower etc very good and spotless. We dined at the Indian restaurant next door the food was excellent and the service friendly and professional. Ths only sad thing was the little coffee shop is no longer there but I understand why. ”
