“Lovely hotel, beautiful beach, excellent restaurant on site. Excellent room, but no elevators. Staff is nice as are all the people of this lovely, rural island. I would have appreciated more assistance with activities, rather than an invite to hear about how to buy a condo there. Cons: No reliable public transportation suitable for tourism. “If you are looking for a place to detach this is it for sure. The cabin was great and the personal infinity pool was fantastic (but not heated) and the view was amazing. Some downsides were the bathroom being completely outside making nighttime urinations interesting. Not much hot water so use sparingly and not enough for us to fill the tub. No TVs but there is a projector with Netflix which was a nice touch but the volume wasn’t great and even at full volume we still needed the closed...

“The hotel is in a very great location. Best tolits of restaurants and the beach is within walking distance. The room was very clean and our towels were changed every day. The grocery on the compound was ideal and convenient. The lobby needs a makeover, it's the first impression you get of the hotel, and it's is just drab. The buildings on the property iss a bit dated and could also do with a face lift. Overall our stay was great, staff very helpful and friendly.”

“This is a charming hotel. The rooms are traditional, with some modern upgrades (the TV has a US Roku - a good choice for US visitors, although unfortunately it doesn't really work for UK visitors). The staff were all friendly and helpful. Ample parking outside the rooms. There is no buffet breakfast, and unfortunately the breakfast options are quiet expensive (approx US$70 for two people, which is a bit excessive for a simple breakfast). “It did the job! Reasonably priced, we just needed somewhere to stay the night before transferring to Nevis. It's very well located for the passenger ferry port. The area near the property has some restaurants and bars, almost all un-usable due to extraordinarily loud music. During the day time, shops prop their doors open with massive speakers, blaring ludicrously loud music.”

“The hotel is next to Port Zante and all the tourists stores for the cruise ships. Good downtown location. Two minute walk to the Ram's large grocery store. My room was large and all the rooms come with a mini kitchen. It was stocked with dishes, glasses, pans, knives, silverware, electric stove, large fridge. “The Golden Rock is a beautiful, low intensity hotel complex, with exceptional gardens. It offers something quite different than other hotels in Nevis. The staff were exceptionally helpful and caring. They also helped to make arrival easy by organizing a seamless transfer from the airport to the water taxi and then to the hotel. Highly recommend”
