“Had a lovely welcome by the family on arrival. Shown to our room which was beautiful, a real room with a view. Sunday lunch was absolutely amazing. Full of flavour and lots of it. Slept like a log, followed by a lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Will definitely be returning very soon ”

“I have stayed here many times. The location is extremely good being very close to the centre of town. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean with good ensuite bathrooms. Hair dryer & ironing equipment available if needed. The wi fi is extremely good & free which is more than can be said for Premier Inns. The staff here are excellent being friendly & very helpful and available 24 hrs a day. Parking is safe & convenient. Lovely comfortable bar with a good choice of excellent meals...

“There is no on-site parking, so be prepared for a short walk from wherever you manage to park. If you’re lucky you may find a free space as we did, although it wasn’t easy to locate one in the dark somewhere unfamiliar. There are paid car parks nearby, though I’m not sure about the rates or exact distances. Either way, expect around a 10-minute walk, which isn’t ideal when carrying luggage in the rain. The hotel operates a self check-in system, which I actually preferred. Two days before...

“Great location as a base to walk the coastal path /connections. The staff were so lovely and helpful I couldn't fault them. It was great to have a bath in the room, a rarity in a stay like this and very welcome after a hard day's walking(!). I ate every night here and the food was typical pub fayre- which is to say good value, and the steak was perfectly done. Good selection of smart tv stations on a big tv too, thanks for a great stay :)”

“We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. ”

“Wow what a transformation Imperial Hotel has had. So impressive love the new design of the hotel it is so modern and so bright. So comfortable the new beds, fab decoration in the room, so clean, amazing shower and a huge HD interactive television. Also loved the Welsh cakes, cans of Welsh water, Welsh coffee and quality tea selection. As usual the staff are amazing especially the receptionist. We will definitely stay again.”
