“The apartment is very clean and beautiful. View was great, parking was safe too. Before heading to North island, it was a great choice. Just a few things: it would be great if there is a photo of "the Swipe" for car garage in the email instructions, and fix the key box lock. Then we didn't have to call. Anyway when I called, the woman staff helped, and let us to leave the keys at the apartment. Wish we can come back. Thanks!”

“If you have a car this is the nice place to stay for long term. It’s located in beautiful sunny and quiet area. Room was super clean and tidy. One thing we didn’t like was sound proofing. Especially if you stay on ground floor, you can hear people’ footsteps or closing door sound etc.”

“We very much enjoyed our stay here, particularly the service provided by Roy. We had a problem with a delayed bag on our flight and even though this was in no way the responsibility of the hotel, Roy helped us with communications and other assistance. The room itself is large and the kitchen is well furnished.”

“Location was good not far from the city, owner needs to be mindful the leave enough supplies of toilet paper etc if guest stay is more than two days. Handwashing was broken too.”

“Thank villa del lago for making our first visit to Newzealand great. The room condition couldn't be better and the view was wonderful. Strongly recommend.”

“We stayed in the Sand Dune unit. Lovely unit on beach front. Not at all noisy though you can slightly hear the neighbouring unit. Great to sit on the balcony and watch the world go by and enjoy the sound of the surf. Only stayed one night but would have loved to be able to stay longer. Ate dinner and breakfast at the Esplanade restaurant - very authentic Italian food, would highly recommend.”
