"The property is nice. The resort needs to provide ear plugs for their clients due to the noise of the tree frogs. Because of the way the building was designed, the tree frogs made an echo sound from sun set to sun rise. "What a little gem! I booked two months before travel. Everything was easy and communication was great. Check-in was easy and the staff were so polite and kind. The kitchen has everything you need. Want to stay in: cooker and oven. Want to stay local: the club house has a great variety (and they do take-out). "Really nice property ,room was nice and modern , there is a bar out front so didn't have to go far for a good chill and about 30 sec walk to an amazing beach. Good location, everything is walking distance. Would definitely be staying there my next time in barbados. "

"The room we had was lovely the view to see the beach was brilliant and stunning the restaurant was excellent and the staff were very polite and friendly, and the master chef was very nice and the food he cooked was lovely the only bad thing is that we had too leave. We are planning to come back next year 😊 "

"This was our first time staying in Barbados and at the hotel. We had a 1-bedroom Queen suite with ocean view. Very spacious, well equipped and fabulous view overlooking the pool and ocean. Plenty of sun beds available every day; parking for our vehicle; and some great restaurants all within a short walking distance. Staff were great and we would definitely return to The South Gap. "

"Lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Food very good and varied dining options. Super ambience. Only downside is no sunbeds ever available at the pool in spite of notice saying reserving sunbeds not allowed. Many were empty all day with no one using them even after putting towels on them. Policy should be enforced."

"I came to the Golden sands for my husbands birthday weekend and our stay there was superb from start to finish. The staff were very accommodating esp Mechelle who helped me coordinate with decorators to set up the room for my husbands birthday surprise as well as throwing in a complimentary birthday breakfast and bottle of wine in there. The food at the restaurant attached to the hotel was also spectacular. We very much enjoyed the breadfruit coocoo with king fish as well as pudding and souse. The rooms were clean and equipt with all we needed and the location was awesome situated right across from beach and a short walk to the oistins fish fry. I highly recommend the Golden Sands hotel"
