Breakfast was adequate, staff was amazing, room was clean w/ just a few rough edges, shower was HOT and didn't fizzle out. pet friendly. Property had lots of charm. My only real complaint, was that the floors are thin and the people staying above us must've been vampires who only sleep 2 hours a night. I maybe only got a total of 6hrs sleep over our 3 day stay. Also, before we booked, somebody told us there was a jacuzzi, but there was none.

We reserved the Kimberly's room. It has a more modern look and bed frame and wall/decor. It's light and bright. But there's no fridge and no microwave where those things come standard in a hotel room. There's however a hot breakfast with eggs, sausages, and biscuits, and other breads and standard yogurt, juice, etc. There's also make your own hot Belgian waffles. Yummm. We have a small view of the ocean. That's kind of funny, but we appreciated the little view and a gorgeous sunset from it. The cherry tree outside the window is full of buds and will be a full blown bloomed beautiful.

wonderful building, attentive staff, wonderfully appointed room, we stayed in 11 behind the reception to avoid stairs. Do note for others with mobility issues that it is a historic home without elevator so plan accordingly. Parking is easy and the property is very close to beach promenade and restaurants. Front desk staff was SO kind snd helpful, personable she's a 20/10.

What a gem this place is! So clean, quiet and lovely. Only a short walk to the beach, beautiful yard, fire pit, nicely acquainted rooms, comfortable bed. It was also great having access to the bikes and we really enjoyed riding the path by the beach. Nice breakfast. We will definitely stay again!
