"Mansion House is situated in the quieter part of Scarborough which suited us perfectly. We received a warm welcome and found the accommodation to be spotless and comfortable. Breakfast offered a good choice and hot food was nicely cooked and presented. The lounge was a cosy welcoming place with plenty of books and games and an honesty bar stocked with a variety of beverages. As we were blessed with good weather we didn’t use the lounge but it would have been a pleasant place to have spent a rainy couple of hours. It’s less than ten minutes walk up to the main road and bus route to Filey and Bridlington and a twenty minute walk to the heart of Scarborough itself. A very enjoyable few days. "

"This is a lovely hotel simple but with splendidly large sized rooms - mine had an en-suite bathroom and a big double bed. With wonderful views of the castle and church across the road. Well worth a visit. For cleanliness, politeness of staff and facilities it is definitely worth the cheap price I paid for two nights….. Top marks AAA***** "
