The property is beautiful and modern, however, the service is subpar. When you walk around the premises to use any of the facilities, no one greets you. We arrive an hour early so the woman at the front desk told us our room wasn’t ready. We gladly waited and went to eat at the restaurant in the meantime. We came back an hour after the check in time hoping our room was ready. It still wasn’t and when we asked about it, the people at the front desk seemed lost.
The employees throughout the property look away and don’t want to be bothered. The service at the restaurant in particular is terrible. I called a woman (Wilnefer) over to place an order with her and she stopped and stared contemplating whether she could/should come help. My husband and I were shocked and laughed about it to ourselves because we couldn’t believe how unwilling she was to help. The host at the restaurant also tried to mislead us when I asked if tip was included in the bill (Wesley). He hesitated and smiled unwilling to answer the question, hoping I’d ignore it and just add an additional tip, which I would’ve happily done, had he not tried to avoid answering my question. The only two servers at the restaurant that were very attentive were Elvis and Diego.
