I liked the general cleanliness and customer service as well as professionalism of the front desk staff.
That said, I was extremely disappointed with nearly 2 hour wait to be served at a hotel sponsored dinner event which we were invited to. For the most part the staff at the 7th floor restaurant were cordial but I was not impressed at all with the customer service I got from the restaurant supervisor.
A case in point was when he gave my meal to one of his employees to pass on to me when he was less than 1 feet away. He could have delivered the meal himself and explained the long wait times but that did not happen.
Perhaps, some cultural sensitivity training may be appropriate here as we all know the hospitality industry requires all staff to be customer-oriented and cordial to all customers regardless of their racial or cultural background.
