"This is a fun hotel. The staff is nice and helpful. There are laundry and ATM options within a easy walking distance. The location of this hotel is ideal for those interested in WW2 history. "

"My only regret is that we didn't plan a longer stay! This Chateau and the grounds are stunning. The resident manager, Pascale, was delightful, helpful and it was so pleasant to chat with her during our stay. She recommended a lovely restaurant in a nearby town and arranged reservations for us on a busy Friday night. Made to order breakfast, extensive honor bar with drinks and snacks, beautiful suite and common areas and very reasonable pricing; you can't go wrong with Chateau La Remetiere!"

"Horrendous experience! Host should be struck off your listings. The first thing he said to us was ‘hotel finished’, meaning we weren’t welcome. We assumed it was because we didn’t check in within the hour timeframe given, even though we rung the host to explain beforehand.
