If you like making memories rather than choosing a generic hotel experience, by all means choose this beautiful, hidden gem of an inn. We stayed here only one night, but wished it had been longer.
The staff was very welcoming and helpful, and even gave us a tour of the whole house, including lots of history which we both love! There's an actual real-life hidden room behind a bookshelf panel in the library where the family silver was kept safe, along with prohibition era alcohol. Can't find that at a chain hotel!
Our room had a king sized bed and a gas fireplace to keep the room warm and cozy. Everything was clean and cared for.
We would love to have had a warm breakfast the next morning, (would have been if there had been at least 4 rooms booked) but there were boiled eggs, breads and cereals, and fruit.
So again, if you want a bit out of the ordinary experience, one you won't soon forget, stay at this beautiful inn in Saginaw!
(Also just a few miles from Frankenmuth, which is why we were in the area at Christmas time.)
