"The property had a lively feel, yet I also felt like I could find a quiet spot to relax whenever I wanted one, whether on the beach, near the pool, or in the other public areas. Beriana at the front desk was amazing! She helped me arrange a car service to the boat terminal for a speedboat to Batam Island for the following day. She recognized and greeted me warmly when I went to check out and meet the driver, and that meant a lot to me. The external car service (driver Khalid) was wonderful. Special thanks to Benny at the pool as well! I live thousands of miles away but really hope to return to Bintan someday. The staff and others I met were a huge part of that!"

"Three generations stayed at the Hotel Indigo for a week and we had a fabulous time. The hotel is spotless and beautifully designed. We had a fabulous round bath in the window with great views over the beach. The food was excellent, so much so that we didn’t leave the hotel all week. It is situated on a site with a Holiday Inn and you can use all their facilities as well including a really good children’s play area. There are two pools plus a children’s pool so ideal for families. "

"Food was ok but the appetisers for the western food is not good. We ordered mesclun salad but what we got was a salad with Romaine lettuce, it's supposed to be a mix of different greens, the french onion soup tasted weird, the onions were not soft or caramelized and did not have the cheese on top of the soup. The steak and lamb chops were good. Overall the hotel is nice but need to improve on the western menu. The breakfast buffet was also good."

"Very new Hotel. I booked the executive studio, so the room was big and plenty comfortable. It's connected to the Grand Batam mall just next door and I don't need to walk outside to access the mall, which is very convenient. The only bad thing was that noise isolation from outside is poor. I could hear car noises form the outside. And for some reason they are doing some kind of remodeling/construction either upstairs or downstairs on a Saturday. I could hear the electric saw noises and hammer banging sounds. I understand you need to do remodeling sometimes, but Saturdays are busy and mostly likely have a customer on other rooms. So, should pick a less busy day to do it."

"Absolutely love this resort. I’m definitely coming back. Special mention to Andry. His service has wowed me. His dedication to providing good experience during our entire stay was impeccable. It was a unanimous agreement from everyone in the family that he made a difference to our stay in Batam. The property may be a bit aged but they are making efforts to upgrade the property progressively. The spa was world class. I am a seasoned traveler and the spa here was one of the top. This was my kids’ first time and I have to say I have spoiled them starting them with one of the best spa experience. Simply beautiful. A very memorable trip for my family. Returning to Batam after over 20 years, I was spoiled. Tried three resorts in Batam and this one wins hands down. Next time, I want to try the in-villa bbq. Sean and Michelle"

"Rooms are clean and comfortable. The grounds are well maintained and the surroundings are quite beautiful. There are only two dining choices on weekdays and there many things to do during the day as the city and towns are not close and there are no interesting places to visit nearby. It's great if you want to sit around the pool all day, but not if you want to get out and see things."
