“About 15 min walk to marina, quiet location, very spacious & clean 3 bed apartment with kitchen & 2 bathrooms. Staff on reception were very welcoming, helpful & friendly. Beautiful gardens/surroundings. About 20 min walk to the old village which was also lovely for cafes, bars & restaurants. Bar abit pricey for drinks but plenty of bars & restaurants within walking distance. ”

“The 4 of us stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and was amazed by how spacious it really was. Hotel was very clean, the staff were very friendly, breakfast was fine, swimming pool very nice, great location as very close to the beach and marina, also had supermarket next door along with a bar that served food if you didn't want to venture far, overall had a great holiday and would definately return here”

“Second time I’ve been to this hotel and it’s a good easy stay. Benefits of a coach to the beach everyday and good staff. My only downside to this hotel would be in the apartments away from the hotel which I stayed in, I had next to no WiFi. I spoke to one of the staff the next day and he tested it and pretty much told me there was nothing he can do. “We had a fantastic stay at The Domes Lake. We could not fault a thing. From arriving with the car and the full valet service, to the check out with one of their many friendly staff at reception. good view, but can't understand the five stars.

"It was nice hotel with great view. but it was hard to connect to reception desk from the room so i had to come down to the reception to ask what i want. and also reception desk staffs don't really know about what kind of program they have and told me to ask the spa staff. and also if you don't like to be disturbed, you have to put your sign on your door, otherwise they would knock your door several times during the day. i am not sure whether it is culture in portugal, but i was startled when staff knocked door many times and even opened the door to barge in to say whether i want more chocolate. i was taking nap during the daytime and woke up because of that knock. and if you want additional water bottle for your room, it isn't free. "
