“Since 2014 we've stayed here at least 8 times. What makes us return are the staff, the pool area and the location. Close enough to the beach, restaurants and bars but far away from the noise. The accommodation provides pristine outside spaces. The pool area is spacious, you're never too close to other bathers. On the ground floor you get your apartment sun bed area. On the upper floor a private balcony with table and chairs, again good enough for sitting in the sun. The apartments are cleaned...

“My husband and I wanted four nights away in the sunshine and warmth to sit and look at the sea and feel indulged and that is exactly what the hotel La Isla y El Mar gave us. Wonderful friendly and happy staff from reception to the restaurant to the bar. We even got a new cocktail on the house from David in the Kentia bar! We had a wonderful massage and couples experience in the spa. If you want to get away for a short break to the warmth and not do very much this is the perfect spot.”

“The property was so well kept, staff were all very keen to help and had proud in their work. The apt was very spacious, clean had everything you needed if you wanted to do self catering. We had an apt in the corner so we didn't have a front terrace or balcony which was a bit disappointing but it was nice and quiet and more privacy then. Only negative comment, the towels seemed a bit old and therefore they seemed to have a strange smell (dampness) which was a bit off putting. I would...
