"Check in is 4pm… our room, as well as many others had to wait. We weren’t able to get a room until 5pm. My friends had to wait up until 7pm! None of the TVs worked. No channels, nothing to watch. It wasn’t just our room our friends had the same issues. We had stayed here many times over the years. I think this was our last. "

The only think I have to say negative was the hotel entry doors seemed to be inoperative so they were fairly difficult to open and I’m a pretty big dude. Other than that wonderful stay. "I would highly recommend this hotel. We chose it at first because of the free parking - a rarity in a big city. The location was very good - a short direct drive to downtown and Washington Park is very close.I was a little leery as we got off the elevator to an outside corridor with cement block walls, but I quickly learned that the room was very good. It was a very large suite with a complete kitchen. There was a good-sized living room as you entered, with many windows to provide light and a beautiful view of Portland. In fact, although we didn't see it the first day, you could even see Mount Hood. As a final benefit, they provided complimentary tickets to the Japanese Garden, which may not always happen."
