The bar was funny, playing Coronation Street on the big TV on Friday night was an unexpected vibe! The pool, sauna and steam room were lovely and warm, clean and inviting. However the changing rooms could do with an update! And no coffee machine working for morning coffees or espresso martinis was gutting! When I ran a bath the water was brown - I guess because of either old pipes or recycled rainwater? But it would have been good to have a note explaining it in the bathroom, so I felt reassured to take my bath (I didn't!). Staff were exceptionally nice and helpful on the whole. "Loads of parking and friendly very comfortable hotel. Rooms large with tea/coffee facilities in room. Bathroom had a large deep bath and a separate shower. Lovely view over the golf course. Reception very friendly but staff in restaurant not fully attentive had had to go and get menus myself even though we had been seated 10 mins earlier. Food itself was fantastic. Morning breakfast staff really attentive and food selections and quality very good. Overall a lovely hotel. "
