"We walked in an apartment with dust and dirt on the floor, mould behind toilet door, mould on kitchen glass tray. They said this apartment was closed for some time. Housekeeping staff should be trained to check on details. Would not recommend for families who are particular about cleanliness. The management needs to take feedback seriously without giving excuses for lapses."

"Perfect for the start of our holiday. Large apartment with everything needed to prepare own meals (we didn’t as eating out is very inexpensive) and close to a large supermarket. "Property was clean in general, but needs to be maintained. Cupboard was broken, furniture was stained, pool area needs some love too, not inviting at all. Breakfast was generally ok when it arrived on time. Communication online was good but face to face was difficult and we speak the language. "One of the worst hospitality service ever. Won't get a towel, bedsheet or toiletries. No cleanliness and smelly dusty rooms. No room service. Swimming pool with decayed leaves and house full of mosquitoes. Broken room locks and the bonus is you won't get water in toilet. "We have one transit night in Colombo and choose this suit apparyment for family stay. The appartment was very neat and clean as well as secure with all facilities including stat of the art swimming pool. The owner Mr. Don was very helpful and supportive and assist us in all manners. The only drawback is you probably unable to go outside without necessary security access that can be granted during morning time."

"From the moment that I stepped into the ITC Ratnadipa, after a long 10 and a half hours flight, I was treated with dignity and respect. Despite being early for check-in, my room was all ready. Throughout my entire 10 day stay everyone was amazing! The facilities were incredible and the Spa especially. I am very pleased with my stay and would recommend it to anyone. 10/10 James"

"Other hotels might try to emulate the Galle Face with their modern colonial architecture but they do not have the same authenticity. With over 100 years experience in hospitality this hotel provides excellent service and superior accommodation. From the welcome given by the concierge service in their liveried cream jackets to the professional lifeguards at the 30m seawater pool, you are at once treated to an unforgettable stay here. Big thank you to Sujith for sorting out our upgrade and to Adja and his team for all their work at the pool. Already looking forward to our next stay here."
