"We had the most incredible 3-day stay at Tim's Beachouse Hotel property in Cebu, Philippines! The beachfront location was absolutely perfect, offering a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere with a beautiful pool to unwind in. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable – the ideal place to come back to after a day of adventures. "We stayed in this house for 6 days and I can say that the experience was not what we've expected. When we checked in we did not get a room that we've originally booked. In our six day stay nobody bothered to clean the room, change towels or bring toilet paper, we had to ask for it or wonder in the middle of the night around the house and try to find it ourself. When you are on vacation you want to enjoy but in this place was impossible as from the morning there were renovations in the house as...

"The owners were absolutely fabulous and extremely helpful. We stayed here a couple days and every night they arranged to have us taken in to town for dinner and picked up and taken back again and helped us with catching buses when we left. They also arranged our Whale Shark experience with the same tricycle driver who ensured that we were in the right place at the right time (something that may have been quite daunting if we were on our own). Their generosity will not be forgotten, thank you."

"The rooms are a decent size with comfy beds. The small patio with table & chairs was a really nice addition. The pool looked clean, although we were only there for 1 night, so didn’t use it. The staff were very friendly & helpful. They suggested taking a tuktuk down to the beach for supper & that was fun. Lots of restaurants to choose from. "

"Their advertising is very misleading. They show a picture of a rice cooker, a hot pot and a drink kettle but when I asked them about it, they said no that is for a different type of room, but the pictures were listed for the room that I reserved. They’re dishonest And the area is some distance from the commercial area and they air-conditioning took four hours to cool off the room and the Wi-Fi was not working the first day had to change to a different after complaining "

Very pleasant stay

"Great location, close to Alona beach but you will need a motorbike. Great service and very friendly and polite staff. The room is well equipped: air conditioning, minibar, hot water. Great pool, great breakfast buffet with diverse choices. Laundry service also available with good price."

Cozy and relaxing

"The Yellow Mango Resort proved to be a perfect choice on our return trip to Bohol. It wasn't right in the area of busy, hopping Alona Beach but close enough to easily get there if you wanted some excitement. At the same time though it was tucked far enough down a side road to be provide peace and quiet if that's what you were in the mood for. The room was great for the price with a queen size bed plus a smaller twin, ample room, strong AC, and décor that was a fair bit more inspired than the usual Philippine resort standard. Breakfast was included and quite delicious, served in the lobby area that doubled as a cozy cafe slash bar. The pool was a decent size and quite refreshing after a long day touring Bohol. Staff were polite and helpful although there were some instances of miscommunication particularly when they booked us an island hopping tour. The issue was relatively minor though and overall our stay was relaxing. If you're looking for a massive resort with expansive recreation options you'll want to look at the larger (and more expensive) establishments in the area but if a more cozy, laid-back vibe is your thing the Yellow Mango is well worth staying at. "
