I'd recommend the eco lodge - staff were lovely but not hotels.com -it took almost a month to get a refund only by going via my bank's anti fraud process.”

“This has been on my bucket list for some time. We had a wounderful 2 night stay and everything was perfect. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, larger than alot of hotel rooms. You lay in bed at night and could imagine your travelling on a train. The meal was excellent, Beef Wellington to die for, so good and wonderful surroundings in a 1906 Pullman car exquisitely restored. The staff were brilliant and extremely helpful. Alot of history tied up in this place.”

“Stayed here over the Festival weekend. Hanger Down House is just south of Arundel and a lovely 20 minute walk into the middle of Arundel. Alison is a lovely welcoming host. The 3 en-suite rooms are in a wing of the family home. Alison made us an amazing full English breakfast every morning in the guest only private breakfast room.
