"We were booked in to no. 9 but moved as we had been doubled booked. No. 2 Apartment described as recently refurbished - bathroom has not been updated in 20 plus years. Upon speaking to Donnini - refurbishment means a new settee and table & chairs in the kitchen! Apartment was not clean - marks on bedding, cobwebs in the lampshades, carpet disgusting, kitchen floor and the wall to the side of the bathroom had not been cleaned in a long time! "I found this property when we had to move out earlier than planed for renovation works to our house. On arrival we were all stunned at the beauty on the gardens , the wild life, the fact we appear to be the only guests. Staff were amazing as i had 1 night were we had no where to staff, and staff were able to accommodate us. If you are looking for peace tranquillity i would highly recommend this place. "Beautiful location with lovely, comfortable accomodation. The night staff were very friendly, accomodation and helpful on our arrival. We felt very welcome. However the day time reception staff were quite abrupt and rude not only to us but we watched a few other guests get 'told off' for petty things. Was rather unfortunate to witness. It spoilt the mood immediately. The lounge area was so relaxing with gorgeous views. The pool area was nice and clean but the floors are quite smooth and slippy!"
