“Spacious house with a beautiful beachfront position. A beautiful space for several days by the beach to chill and unwind or as a base for exploring the glorious Bay of Fires. 10 minutes to St Helen’s if you’ve forgotten anything! The bedrooms were dark, and one doesn’t really have a window (the window looks into the storage space). But, you don’t come to the beach to stay in your room (even if you ARE a teenager). No fans or air con, so it was warm. And tank water - so you have to boil...

“It’s amazing to stay in a heritage listed property while the house still meets most of the needs of a family. It’d be better if the host could let us know the actual address earlier as the address on Expedia is not the place we stayed. We got the SMS with the correct address after going to the wrong place. Also it’d be great if fly-screens can be installed to the windows at the kitchen area.”

“ We found melted scented candle wax on rhe back of the door and ash on the carpet. we cleaned the smelly mess up in one of the rooms. The only smoke alarm wasnt working and left open on the celing. It was reported and fixed on the 2nd night. This was a concern for us.as the microwave blew up and needed to.be replaced. Electrical fault and no working smoke alarm in the house. Location was great just across from beach, beds were clean and comfortable. View was good ”
