“The beautiful boutique bed and breakfast had only 12 rooms and an amazing Hacienda style decor in the interior rooms and all surrounding yards and pool. Each room had a full kitchenette. Free parking in front of the property in a quiet safe neighborhood. The owners were friendly and easily available as they live on the property!”

“We stayed here 4 nights. Our room with double beds on the 2nd floor was extremely clean and well maintained. It took a good 5 minutes to get hot water in the shower and the toilet was just flushable due to low water pressure. The room had a walk-in closet outside the small bathroom. The mattresses seemed pretty new and although a bit soft were fine for us. This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this very walkable neighborhood. Most of the hotels appear to be vintage (1960s?). “Dee Jay Beach resort is a great place to stay in Lauderdale by the Sea. Not only us it in a great location, our efficiency was comfortable and roomy. The owner was on site and attended to any needs we had. The backyard was a nice respite from the hectic travel and had a pool and lounge chairs to relax and rest. There was a shopping plaza a short distance away, which housed a super market, a diner, and so much more. A short drive, led us to a great area with lots of restaurants and shops. ...
