“There is a lot to share about our experience. Our family of four booked this hotel for three nights to relax after some earlier adventures. Unfortunately we got some pretty terrible weather. We were the only ones staying on the property for the majority of our stay. In the high season they have a guard station and a restaurant. In the low season they are not fully staffed. They gave us a lovely room and the staff we met were kind and friendly. They provided breakfast daily. The pool was...

“Comfortable place. Two beds in the room, that was unexpected. Nice. Staff need to be more attentive when . Serving and at the bar. But free breakfast was very good. Great beach, one of the best I have been in Costa Rica. Affordable. I don’t know if they have any beach chairs, I didn’t asked. There are none available at the beach except for the next door resort which they don’t rent. There are different activities offered by other businesses.”

“The room was in the basement with no hot water, small, and dark. The pool was the size of a large bathtub, and all small clean little prison compound. It would of suffice for a night or two, for about a 1/4 of the price i paid. But at $160 a night, it sucked. Worst hotel.com place ive ever stayed in Costa Rica.”

“This is our second stay and although we love the beauty of the location the hospitality wasn’t quite as accommodating as our first trip. We were there for a 60th bday and engagement and wasn’t a lot of notice to that. It was a bit more crowded than our first trip and think we’ll come back in July again for smaller crowds. Food is always good and can’t beat the sunset views from the infinity pool.”

“Hotel d’escale pour nous. Situe entre deux grandes surfaces. Piscine un peu vieillissante. Type un peu motel américain avec des escales pour les routiers. En bord de route. Petit déjeuner et restaurant le soir à l’hôtel partenaire à côté . Très bon. Attention on parle un peu moins anglais dans la region( notamment le soir au restaurant. Conditions de voyage: hors saison”

“The pool was beautiful, and central to all the rooms. We loved hearing the monkeys, cicadas and birds all day and night. We really felt like we were in the jungle, yet also bear all the action. Rooms were clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved our stay!”

“Our stay at Hotel Amira was beyond expectations and exceptional. The location and the staff, especially the hotel manager, went above and beyond to make our stay more than comfortable. The location was great. Several choices of restaurants nearby and close to beaches. Having stayed at many places in Costa Rica I would highly recommend Hotel Amira as a great place to stay.”
