“It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. ”

“Hotel Viking gets high marks for their customer service. All of the staff were very accommodating. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed, including a refrigerator. The rooms are quiet. The valet parking was quick and there is a fee. I had an excellent time here for a 2 day stay. ”

“It was a great property with modern designs and a wonderful minimal aesthetic. The staff was helpful and the amenities were as advertised. My only complaint was the TV system was a bit antiquated with only cable tv options. There was no way to connect to streaming services and had that been an option it would have been a 10/10 getaway experience”
