The farm setting is so peaceful (for us guest that is, a lot of hard work for owners), and the location is great for visiting the Lizard and other places around south Cornwall. “The cabin i stayed in was as good as new.wonderfully smiley cleaner. Very helpful staff. Made an effort for me. I only stayed for 1 night so it worked perfectly for me. Convenient bus stop. Big carpark, large family orientated garden. Practical. As u would expect from urban setting not the most beautiful.”

“Darren at reception was really lovely, the lady who served us breakfast in the morning was very lovely and accommodating. The hotel dog ran up to us barking as we were leaving, which was a bit alarming. The bedroom was simple and clean. Unfortunately the hotel has an awful smell, even in the bedrooms, like damp or mouldy carpets. A bee was in our room, luckily my husband was able to get it out. I appreciate it is an old historic building, but a deep clean and refresh of the carpets might help.”

“A beautiful hotel in an incredible location, with lovely spa facilities that are worth a visit. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. That said, for a hotel of this calibre, we did notice a few areas where the experience fell short of expectations. Small touches — like having the tea tray refreshed without needing to ask — are the kind of details that elevate a stay, and we found ourselves having to prompt for these. “Spacious and clean room, the staff was lovely. The breakfast is very good and the inn is in a good place to visit the area (bus station and train station in front of the inn). Parking is easy too.”
